Admissions
Shepherd University follows a rolling admissions policy and processes applications as long as freshman or transfer openings remain. However, to be considered for scholarships, students must apply and be admitted to Shepherd by February 1.
Financial Aid
Shepherd University offers scholarships, loans, grants, and work-study programs on the basis of need, academic achievement, and special skills. Our hope is that any student who deserves to be at Shepherd will be able to attend, regardless of financial status.
Tuition and fees for 2007-08 are $4,564 in state and $12,036 out of state, with room and board starting at $6,986 yearly.
To Apply for Financial Aid
- For scholarship consideration, students must apply and be admitted to Shepherd by February 1.
- After January 1, visit www.pin.ed.gov to obtain a federal PIN for you and your child if you would like to apply for aid online.
- By March 1, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), available at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Students will still be eligible for financial aid if they apply for admission after February 1, but their chances for available scholarships is reduced.
